More about Singapore
Singapore. Singapore isn't a place in China. It's a small little place in South East Asia (for those who didn't take a course on Geography, South east asia is southeast of China). Stretching only slightly around 42km and 22 km, it's a very small dot in the big world map. Well, this small place is sucky enough to live in. No doubt, Singapore is one of the more prosperous nation among our neighbours (which includes Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia..), it's a rather stifling place to live in. I'm not sure whether you've heard of Singapore's marketing campaign to showcase our interesting locales? The marketing campaign is called 'Uniquely Singapore'. We do have some unique stuff about us, but the way we're marketed like some brothel makes us sound so cheap. If you're really interested, you should drop by Singapore to visit. Personally, having lived here for a good part of my life, I can assure you that 4 days is more than enough. 1 day to tour our 'interesting' tourist attractions, 1 day to shop (please for goodness stop going to orchard road and get fleeced...there are so many other places locals shop if you'll do a little more homework!), 3 more days to visit other nearby places or island. Don't take my word for granted, go find it out. |
